Marcus Foster is a relative new comer, having released his first EP on Communion Records just last year. It hasn’t taken long for the artist to find an audience, citing almost 18 thousand fans on Facebook and a smash hit with “I Was Broken.”
Now with his first full length release under his belt, “Nameless Path,” The UK based singer/songwriter hopes to break new ground with his signature Bob Dylan-like style. Foster is wrapping up an American tour featuring a set at the famed SXSW, and then heads back to England for a handful of dates scheduled in his home country.
We were lucky that Marcus was willing to try something creative with OurVinyl.Tv. We found an old abandoned factory and filmed just outside on a gorgeous sunny day. Surprisingly we were not the only ones attracted to the factory’s industrial look. An interesting wedding party joined us to shoot some photos which sparked Marcus’ humorous attitude. After a three hour trip the musician was still eager to share his music.
Marcus performed three songs, Shadows of the City, Solid Ground and I Don’t Need to Lose You to Know. For more of Marcus’ music visit him online at http://marcusfostermusic.co.uk/
