Tokimonsta is part of the ever growing Brainfeeder collective, the record company headed by beat producer Flying Lotus, which touts some of the biggest names in electronic hip hop and other genre bending categories, inlcuding Nosaj Thing, The Gaslamp Killer, and Thundercat.

Releasing her first album in 2010, Tokimonsta (Toki is Korean for rabbit) fuses her training in classical piano with drum machines and samples to create her signature sound. The track featured below, “Time To,” showcases Tokimonsta’s work with fellow artist Suzi Analog. The two are promising a collaborative album release sometime in the near future.
